The area around Hardin is surrounded by history..... legendary men such as Lewis and Clark, General George Armstrong Custer and Jim Bridger traveled this land, a land occupied by the Crow Indians for years prior to the arrival of the white man.
Hardin is the county seat of Big Horn County.
Visit the Big Horn County Historical Museum and State Visitor Center. The visitor center is open year around.
Camping, food and lodging facilities are available.
